The purpose of the benevolence ministry at Western Hills is to serve people by offering financial and physical assistance during times of crisis, especially the orphan and the widow. The benevolent ministry accomplishes this purpose by personally interviewing those in need, discovering what needs the church is supposed to meet, and then raising support to address the need. Personal interviews are conducted with those in the church through out the week while personal interviews are conducted with those in the community on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
