Western Hills Church seeks to be a safe place for all families to grow in the Lord and this includes families that homeschool. There are currently more than 70 families in the church that homeschool. Because there are so many families that homeschool, there is a strong fellowship and support group for these families. The church also offers enrichment classes every Wednesday for those families that need assistance in various subjects. Many members of the church provide tutoring in academic areas and in the arts. The church also provides ministries that assist parents in training their children at home like Character First in the public schools and various other community service ministries.

The body of Christ is very diverse in its application of various biblical standards, but at Western Hills, the leadership of the church always attempts to support those families with the highest standards during church events.
