At Western Hills, we have families of all sizes including many families with five or more children. We believe the scripture that says that children are a reward and a heritage of the Lord. Therefore, many families have decided not to limit the size of their family.

The church supports these families by providing an atmosphere in which children are valued and mothers are honored for bearing children and for being keepers of the home. Ladies in the church who have had experience raising a large family teach classes on a regular basis. There are also regular classes and mentorship opportunities that assist men with large families.

Families are encouraged to sit together in our services and it is not unusual to see an entire pew occupied by one family. There is a Family Class on Wednesday evenings for those parents who want to keep their families together during our discipleship training. There is also children's ministry during our services and on Wednesday evenings for children age's four to eleven for those who feel they need assistance with their children. There is also an adequately staffed nursery during these times for infants and children age three and under.
